No previous experience is necessary. Prior to departure every raft member is instructed on water
safety, raft control and emergency procedure by their skipper and then given time as a team to
practice their new found skills on still waters.
There is no upper age limit. Anyone in average physical condition with a desire to have a good fun
and adventure is assured of a great time. For the younger folk we set a minimum age of 12 years on
the Nymboida river and 16 years on the
Gwydir River. Goolang Creek has a Minimum age of 8 years. Nymboida River

This trip is on the upper reaches of the Nymboida River.
Our 9km journey is within the magnificent wilderness country of the
Nymboi - Binderay National Park, accessed via Dorrigo, west of Coffs Harbour.
The Rapids are grade 3 and 4, rated as moderate, but still providing plenty of adrenalin and
excitement. Your guides are knowledgeable and very experienced, and will ensure your day is both
fun and safe. Pick-Ups are available in Coffs Harbour, Bellingen and Dorrigo, starting from 7am,
returning at approximately 5:30pm to Coffs Harbour Pick-up and return Transport

(2 day)
This is without a doubt, the best 2 day rafting trip in Australia.
Magnificent wilderness scenery, camping overnight by the river, and a combination of grade 3 and grade 4 rapids (sometimes grade
5 after good rain) to please the thrill seeker. We pass through some high-sided granite gorges and
drift past lush rainforest. Deep tranquil pools alternate with powerful rapids. Over 2 days we travel
27km down the river, to be met by four wheel drive vehicles for our return to Coffs Harbour. This is
an action packed 2 days of great whitewater wilderness rafting.

If you need time to unwind, get in touch with nature, relax but still want some adrenalin action, this is
your trip. The Upper Nymboida River at a relaxed pace;
time for photos, exploring the river and camp surrounds, taking in the amazing beauty that is the Nymboida. Each night we camp beside the
river and enjoy the solitude of the stars and the company of our small group of adventurers. We
have time to explore the rainforest with walks to the base of waterfalls on side creeks and spend
extra time on some of the rapids. 4 day trips usually start on Mondays during the summer season,
returning on Thursday afternoon, but other departure days can be arranged for group bookings of 8

(2 Day Trip)
The Gwydir River below Copeton dam, in northwest New South Wales, provides some of the wildest
whitewater rafting available in Australia. Large volumes of water released from the dam, for cotton
irrigation further west, create a stretch of grade 4 and grade 5 whitewater which will satisfy
dedicated thrill seekers and experienced rafters. We run the river from below Copeton Dam to Horse
Stealers Creek, a river distance of 16km, over 2 days. The river scenery is dominated by imposing
granite boulders, cliffs and river sculptured pools. The rapids are long and powerful, spaced by deep
pools and cascading waterfalls. Our camp is on a clean sandy beach surrounded by dry eucalypt
bush. Minimum age is 16 and you need to be a good swimmer to raft the Gwydir River. Ultimate whitewater adrenaline - Grade 4 & 5 action
